Camel Club Ladder

Rules of Engagement

6/30/2000

1) Contestants can fly their personal planes as long as there is about equal visibility. If your opponent thinks your plane is not equal then both fly the same plane or whatever you can agree upon.  All matches will be flown at Interlaken.  Pilots must stay in the bounds of the mountains to the north and south of Interlaken and between the East and West bases.

2) No excessive delays or running out of the Interlaken area as described above, to drain your opponent’s fuel supply.  Emergency landings are authorized but no free trips to the ready room.

3) Each match will be first to 7.   First to get 2 wins is match winner.   Planes will fly in opposite directions for 1 min 30 sec prior to starting combat.  Collisions with your teammate or shooting down your teammate result in immediate loss of that game.

4) Fuel load is at the discretion of the pilot.

5) In the event of an Internet or system failure the game restarts immediately and scores from last connection should be honored.

6) Pilots will be on the same RW (or BC) for singles and optionally on separate RWs (or BC) for doubles/team play.

7)    Forfeiture will count as a loss of that match.  Those players that choose not to be in the ladder will gradually fall to the bottom of the ladder.  New members to the club will start at the bottom of the ladder just above the non-participatants.

8)  Players / teams can challenge opponents up to 2 steps above them on the ladder. The initial singles ladder(s) will be based on the tournament results.  If the match winner was highest on the ladder then no ladder positions will be changed.  If the winner was lower on the ladder then he will take the new upper ladder position and the looser will move down one position.    Scorpio will maintain the ladder on the Club Web Site.  Results of all matches will be sent to Scorpio for incorporation into the ladder.  A single repeat challenge of the victor is allowed immediately.  Additional repeat challenges must be 1 week apart.  A challenge must be answered within 1 week of the challenge or there will be a forfeit of the party / team being challenged in which case the forfeited player will be moved 2 steps below the challenger and the challenger will be shifted up 1 step.  Email addresses of all competitors have been sent to all so scheduling can be individually accomplished.  Contact Scorpio if you need email addresses.

10) All matches will be 110% no visuals.  We expect all pilots to be honest and fair with this matter. No intentional crashes are allowed. No intentional shooting your teammate.
