Camel Club Bomber Run
The bomber run
as instituted by the members of the Camel Club shall adhere to the following
rules and procedures.
There will be
two teams. One shall be a German defense patrol (Fokker DR-1s). Their mission will be to protect West Base
from being attacked and bombed. The opposing team will be the attacking British
force (Camels and Bomber) attempting to infiltrate the skies of the Fokker
team, Bomb their base and return safely to Interlaken.
If the German
patrol team succeeds in stopping the British bomber before it bombs West Base,
the German team wins.
If the British
succeed in bombing West Base but the bomber fails to successfully return to
Interlaken, (whether shot down or pilot error…hehehe) this shall be a ‘push’
(no winner / tie).
If the German
team fails to stop the bomber, as soon as the bomber has landed and has stopped
on the runway at Interlaken, the mission is complete and the British team is
the winner.
When the game
starts (entry from Ready Room), the German team will fly direct to West Base to
take up a defensive patrol of the area.
The land area around Interlaken is considered off limits to this patrol.
At the same time, the British team will head for East Base and form up / make plans
etc. As soon as the bomber has made a
pass over East Base the bomber pilot makes it known to all fliers whether
friend or foe. (This information will be disseminated by keyboard entry). This
shall be deemed a DECLARATION OF WAR! And will be the beginning of the
conflict.
